Visited Pacos Fish and Chips and decided to try something a little different from the usual seafood—I ordered the burger and bottomless fries. The burger was surprisingly good—juicy, flavorful patty with fresh toppings and a nicely toasted bun. It definitely hit the spot, though not quite gourmet-level, it was solid comfort food. The bottomless fries were the highlight—crispy, hot, and constantly refilled without needing to ask. A big plus for fry lovers! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was quick despite a busy crowd. I’d love to come back and try their signature fish and chips next time.

On my quest to find the best fish and chips in town, I came across this spot in Steveston, and it did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and juicy with a perfectly crispy batter, and the chips weren’t soggy at all. I took a full bite of the halibut tacos and they were chef’s kiss. The staff were super friendly when being asked for extra lemon wedges and tartar sauce. I’m literally salivating writing this while looking at the photo. I was surprised to learn they also have locations at YVR Airport and in Port Moody, but I feel like this one’s the best, especially for the seating. Tons of patio space right on the deck, which would be perfect on a sunny summer day. I’ll definitely be back and would totally recommend it!

Some of the best fish n chips we had. Tried one of each salmon, snapper and halibut. Didn't expect salmon to taste as good as it did. Other two were also very good. This fish was crispy and there was a lot of meat. Bottomless fries were a plus.

Really good! I ordered the “one of each fish and chips” it came with one piece cod, one piece sockeye salmon and one piece halibut with fries and tartar sauce. They don’t have indoor seating though, it’s just picnic tables but with awesome views. I don’t recommend it on a rainy day.

I loved the experience! The atmosphere is super pleasant, and the food truly stands out compared to many restaurants in the area. The flavors are amazing, and the versatility of the menu makes it easy to enjoy your meal even while strolling along the pier — which I found to be a charming touch. Another highlight is the generous portion sizes, plus the free refills on fries, which is a rare and welcome bonus. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

So delicious! We got the halibut, cod and salmon combo. Super filling!! We have been going here for years as I grew up in the Steveston area, happy to see that they have expanded their menu and stall!! Must visit in Steveston!

Delicious! The batter was light and had a perfect crispiness; the fish was cooked just right, and each piece was a good size. It was a perfect day for it, sunny with a light breeze by the water whilst we chowed down. We'll be back!
